The information you enter about the song titles at your site is used after the network-wide charts are compiled and formatted for display. Whenever an entry appears on the chart, it must have the name of the artist and the title of the song at the very least. If the information is not available, there's no point in charting it. If you include URL's, those will be added to your chart entry as well, so that anyone looking at the chart will be able to easily go to your site and hear the song, get more info, buy the CD, etc.

The data entry fields are as follows:

Artist Name: Enter the name of the artist performing the song

Song Title: Enter the name of the song

Album/CD Title: Enter the title of the CD the song comes from, if any. If none, leave it blank.

Label: Enter the name of the record label that released the CD. If none, leave it blank.

Path & Local Filename: This is the filename of the song on your server, and the directory path.

For example, if the URL of song file is http://www.whatever.com/songs/mysong.mp3, enter /songs/mysong.mp3 in the Local Filename field.

URL's      If you don't know or don't have URL's for any of these, leave it blank. You can always come back and edit the record later.

Web URL to Filename:     This is the URL someone would go to hear the song. e.g. http://www.whatever.com/songs/mysong.mp3

Web Site URL for Artist Info:     Your homepage, or some other URL someone would go to get more info on the artist. e.g. http://www.whatever.com/bio/mybio.html

URL for CD Sales:     If you sell your CD's yourself, enter the URL at your site where people can place orders. If you sell through CDnow, CDbaby, CDstreet, or some other online retailer, enter the URL here.

Style: These are basic genre categories right now, just to have a basic indication of how to classify the song. More will be added at a later date to make it more all-inclusive.
